Netflix has been busy this year, and August is no exception. The streaming giant will add dozens of new television and film titles as well as new original dramas, comedies, and comedy specials. The best part? Many are available for download, so you can watch on the go.
Here’s what’s coming to Netflix in August.
Top pick: Marvel’s The Defenders Season 1
New York’s local heroes Manhattan, to be specific (sorry, Spider-Man) take on Alexandra (Sigourney Weaver), who claims the two sides are at war for New York. There are ripples from villains of Daredevil and Iron Fist, but what you need to know is that this is a high-risk alliance banking on the off-chance four reluctant misfits will band together.
